On Warne - Book Of The Year Winner 2013Book Of The Year 2013 winner revealed
The Cricket Society & M.C.C. are delighted to announce that the Book of the Year Award for 2013 was won by Gideon Haigh for his book On Warne published by Simon and Schuster in the Long Room on Monday April 15th 2013.

CMJThe Cricket Society is deeply saddened to report the loss of our past President Christopher Martin-Jenkins. Our thoughts are with his wife Judy and his children Robin, Lucy and James. Ivo Bligh Grave restoredIvo Bligh Grave Rededication at Cobham in Kent

At a time of success in retaining the Ashes, it is appropriate to think back to how all this started, and in that context The Cricket Society has taken the lead in the restoration of the grave of the Honourable Ivo Bligh, who first brought back the Ashes urn to England. The story has also been covered in The Times Newspaper on 16th May 2011. An online version can be accessed here but a subscription is required to view it.
